Nicole Vaidisova – another cutie pie!
Nicole Vaidisova is a Czech cutie pie. She was born in Nuremberg, Germany, but currently lives in Prague, Czech Republic. She has a current WTA ranking of 14 and is just 19 years old and is already into her 5th year on the pro tour. She has six WTA Tour singles titles and 2 ITF Women’s Circuit singles titles.
She is pictured here during her women’s singles match against US opponent Serena Williams at the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne, Jan. 20, 2008. Williams won 6-3, 6-4.
Introducing – Daniela Hantuchova
Introducing another cutie pie. This is Daniela Hantuchova, a 25-year-old cutie pie from Slovakia. She is pictured here thanking the crowd after wining her quarter-final match Jan. 23 in the Australian Open 2008 at Melbourne Park.
Daniela is currently ranked 7th in the world. She has won 3 WTA Tour singles titles and 8 WTA Tour doubles titles.
I think she has cute eyes, a cute smile, and cute …
Cute abs – Caroline Wozniacki
This cutie pie, Caroline Wozniacki, is from Denmark. She was serving here against Russian cutie pie, Maria Sharapova during the JB Group Classic 2008 tennis exhibition tournament in Hong Kong, Jan. 2, 2008. Maria won the match 6-2, 6-2.
This is a wild serve, at least the server looks wild! It takes a wild serve to show off her abs. You can check out her WTA photo at Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Site. It is a less wild photo, but shows her real cuteness. It also shows her youth. At only 18, she is the youngest of our currently featured cutie pies.
Cute serve – Patty Schnyder
This is cutie pie Patty Schnyder of Switzerland serving during her match at the Australian Women’s Hardcourt Championships on the Gold Coast, Australia, Monday, Dec. 31, 2007. Schnyder won her match against Russia’s Alisa Kleybanova 6-1, 6-3.
This definitely looks like a winning serve to me, as well as a good serve, a top notch serve, a great serve, and a sexy serve(r). You name it, I think she qualifies for all of them, except bad!
Patty is currently ranked 14th on the women’s circuit. She has won 10 WTA tour singles titles, and 4 doubles titles. So not only is she a good (looking) server, she is also a great tennis player!
Are you playing? Elena Dementieva
Here is another Russian cutie pie, Elena Dementieva. Those Russians sure are cute!
She can’t fool me, though. Nobody looks that “cool” while playing tennis. She’s not sweating. Her hair is not tied back. Her dress is not wrinkled. Her smile indicates she didn’t just loose a match. And she doesn’t look excited enough to have just won. Perhaps she is just getting ready to play. But then, where is the tennis court? I’m guessing she was doing a modeling shoot here. She makes a cute model though, don’t you think?
Nice shot! Maria Sharapova
Now that’s what I’m talking about! I think this is the # 1 reason to watch Women’s tennis – the scenery!
This is how Maria Sharapova looks from the backside view after a serve. Doesn’t she have a great serve! I think this is one of the best serves I have seen. I could watch serves like that all day. This is one time an “endzone” seat would pay off.
Skirt or headband? Titiana Golovin
This is Tatiana Golovin of France playing against Jelena Jankovic at the Sydney International Jan 8, 2008. With her hair braided this way, she looks like someone you might find in the Swiss Alps.
My question is this: is that is a skirt or headband she’s wearing around her waist? Either way, I like it.
Tatiana is currently ranked 12th in the world. She lost to Aravane Rezai , also of France, in the 2nd round of the Australian Open in January.
Cutie Anna resting – Anna Chakvetadze
Here is Anna Chakvetadze resting during a break in her women’s singles match against compatriot Maria Kirilenko at the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melborne on January 19, 2008. She is another of the Russian cuties and is currently ranked 7th in the world.
Anna lost this 3rd round match to Kirilenko 7-6, 1-6, 2-6.
She played again last Sunday in the Fed Cup World Group, beating Tzipi Obziler 6-4,6-2 to help lead Russia to a first-round tie. You can learn more about Anna at her web site: Anna Chakvetadze

Strike the pose – Maria Kirilenko
This is Russian cutie pie Maria Kirilenko. I don’t understand Russian, but Maria is sure speaking to me here!
The story line says she was preparing to serve in her 3rd round match against compatriot Anna Chakvetadze. Or is she saying, “I’m taking my balls and going home”? Or perhaps, “Does anybody want to play with me?” I’d be happy to play with her. And I wouldn’t even mind if she beat the pants off of me.
Maria won this match against Chakvetadze 6-7,6-1,6-2. Unfortunately she lost to Daniela Hantuchova in the 4th round. She is currently ranked 25th in the world, so hopefully we’ll be seeing a lot more of her in the future!
Two cutie pies – Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic
So here are the # 1 and # 2 finishers of the Australian Open which just finished this past weekend, Maria Sharapova of Russia on the right and Ana Ivanovic of Serbia on the left. They certainly both belong in the cutie pie category as far as I am concerned. This is by far one of the cutest finals I can remember, and therefore one of the more enjoyable finals I’ve watched.
I think a final like this could make even the non-tennis community want to watch! How about it? Any recent converts out there? Anyone who just hates watching tennis who couldn’t keep their eyes off the match? I wouldn’t blame you!
