Whatever Happened To Golovin?

What has happened to French tennis star, Titiana Golovin? After turning pro in 2002, Golovin had a top 30 season in 2005 and 2006, and a top 20 season in 2007. She won two WTA Tour singles titles in 2007, and was ranked as high as No. 12 in the world on February 4, 2008. Then she disappeared from tennis the Spring of 2008. For those wondering what happened to this up-and-coming 21-year-old tennis star, here’s the scoop.

Golovin featured in SI Swimsuit issue

Sexy, cutie pie, Tatiana Golovin, is one of three female tennis players featured in the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. This photo might make one want to hit the beach.

Tatiana Golovin not playing Wimbledon

French cutie pie, Tatiana Golovin, will not be playing Wimbledon this year. She is still suffering from back problems following cyst surgery about six months ago.

Here is a translation of what she said at Golovin-Attitude: “It would be very stupid to ruin everything by wanting to play at all costs. My 2008 season is rotten, but I hope that at 21 years old I will be able to get back quickly. I still suffer from my back. I can’t play in those conditions.”

Tatiana missed Roland Garros, and now Wimbledon. Hopefully she will be recovered so she can play the US Open.

Tatiana Golovin to miss French Open

Cutie pie, Tatiana Golovin, will miss the French Open this year. The world No. 21 player will not take part in the tournament as she recently underwent surgery in order to remove a cyst from her abdomen, according to Techtainment. She is now recovering from that operation.

Tatiana is from France. It has to be a big disappointment to miss a Grand Slam in her home country. Hopefully she’ll be recovered for the next Grand Slam.

Tatiana Golovin to have surgery

One of our featured cutie pies, Tatiana Golovin is scheduled for surgery today. She has been having back pains for a while and while looking for the source, doctors discovered she has a 6 cm (2.35 inch) cyst in her left hip. The surgery will remove the cyst.

ATP/WTA RMK Championships – 2 cutie pies

Cutie pies Tatiana Golovin and Caroline Wozniacki are currently playing in the ATP/WTA RMK Championships being played Feb. 24-Mar. 1 in Memphis, TN.

Tatiana Golovin, seeded 2nd, was defeated by American Bethanie Mattek who is ranked 148th in the world.

Caroline Wozniacki, seeded 6th, defeated Milagros Sequera 6-0, 6-2 to advance to the 2nd round.

Skirt or headband? Titiana Golovin

My question is this: is that is a skirt or headband she’s wearing around her waist? Either way, I like it.

Tatiana is currently ranked 12th in the world. She lost to Aravane Rezai , also of France, in the 2nd round of the Australian Open in January.
