Cutie pie Ana Ivanovic is the # 1 seed in the Pacific Life Open at Indian Wells, CA March 10-23. She is cute enough, I expect her to do very well in this tournament!
Four of our other featured cutie pies are also seeded. Maria Sharapova is seeded # 4. Daniela Hantuchova is the defending champion and is seeded # 5. Nicole Vaidisova is seeded # 7, and Maria Kirilenko is seeded # 18.
Cutie pie Caroline Wozniacki comes into the tournament unseeded. Caroline won her first match against Melinda Czink 6-2, 7-6(4). Unfortunately that brought her up against another cutie pie, Maria Kirilenko who had a bye into the second round. Caroline won that match 6-0, 6-2, so cutie pie Maria Kirilenko is already out of the tournament. I am going to petition tournament officials to not pit two cutie pies against each other this early in the tournament.
