Tennis cutie pie, Patty Schnyder, of Switzerland has received the # 2 seeding in the 2008 WTA Commonwealth Bank Tennis Classic being played in Bali, Indonesia.
Patty Schnyder, currently ranked 13th in the world, had a Bye into the 2nd round. In the 2nd round she faced 98th ranked Meng Yuan of China, defeating her 6-2, 7-5. In the Quarterfinal round, she defeated 57th ranked Marta Domachowska of Poland, 6-2, 6-2.
Schnyder will now face the 4th seed, 22nd ranked Nadia Petrova of Russia in the Semifinals. She is making a good run in this tournament. Perhaps she can take home some hardware to add to her collection.
