It’s an all-American affair just as we knew it would be.

OK, so we didn’t expect this final at all.

Oh, the Nadal-Djokovic final?

That we did expect.

I’m talking doubles.  The top seed were, as usual, the Bryan brothers.  However, they were eliminated by another American duo: Mardy Fish and Andy Roddick.

The team of Fish and Roddick then beat Berlocq and Nieminen to reach the finals where they will face–wait for it–Isner and Querrey.

Isner and Querrey beat Bolelli and Fognini, the local boys who were given a wildcard, to reach an all-American final.

Who will win?  Who knows?

Roddick may not be able to win on clay in singles, but maybe there’s life as a doubles player!
